The latest version of SOBI2, the popular Joomla business directory component, (version 2.9.0.1) has been upgraded to be semi Joomla 1.5 Native. This means that

• it will work without Legacy but needs Legacy to be activated to be installed
• do not use the ftp layer of Joomla 1.5 to install, it may cause permission problems (although I haven't had problems with this with version 2.8.7.2)
• to use other languages than English in SOBI, currently you have to switch on the Legacy module!

SOBI2 is the business directory component I use on more than 100 web sites and is a great free component, whether you want to set up your site as a directory or only want to add a business directory to your current content site.
